Biography
Sasha grew up on a woody acreage in Woodinville, Washington on a lane named Little Bear Creek Road—get it?
A year-round stream flowed through the property, which was flush with artesian spring water and five ponds with fish, eels, and frogs. Sasha spent her childhood roaming forests and gardens, jumping from trees via rope swings, building secret forts in the forest, and picking wild huckleberries. She often exited her high tree fort via zip line. Had there been an American Ninja Warrior tv show at that time, she would have enrolled.
Sasha has three children and enjoys biking, traveling, gardening, and reading. In fact, roaming the library to bring home an armload of books might be one of her favorite self-care activities! Sasha is always open to giving book recommendations for kids of any age. Just ask! (Check out our Parenting Book Recommendations!)
She’s known since her time at Seattle Children’s Hospital that working with children was her passion. Sasha strives to provide excellent healthcare guidance and treatment for children and families.
