Wellness Visits

During this special and important phase of development, new parents can expect to take their baby cub for 11 checkups within the first two years of life, with half of those visits taking place in the first six months.

The schedule of visits:

Vax Schedule

We provide the full vaccination schedule as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics. For parents and caregivers who prefer a modified schedule, we provide that, too. Read about vaccine aftercare or Bear Creek’s vaccine policy.

Frenectomy (tongue-tie correction)

This procedure can be performed in-office for infants up to six months old. Read more on our Tongue-Ties page.

Male Circumcision

If your newborn is under 30 days old and under 10 lbs, this procedure can be performed in our office. We understand that the decision to have your male baby circumcised is very personal and private. If you are considering this procedure for your infant and have any questions or concerns, please call us.
